Personal Mission Statements

I will embrace and see each day as not just another day, but one filled with opportunity and exitement. I alone will choose for myself those endeavors I wish to pursue.

I desire to live of moral fulillment and simplicity. Concern for my well-being will be my first priority. I believe that if I remain true to mny values, I will have a positive influence on those I touch.

I will try with a firm conviction to share more of my innermost thoughts with the ones I love.

I realize that I am both interdependent and respondable to others. With this in mind, I will consciosly seek to understand and obtain a closeness with my family and colleagues.

I will continue to grow by stimulating my mind with new learning.

While I value the freedom and financial security my profession provides, I realize that freedom and security alone cannot provide the happiness I seek.

I alone will choose for myself.

For myself, I want to develop self-knowledge, self love, and self-allowing. I want to use my healing talents to keep hope alive and express my vision courageously in work and action.

In my family, I want to build healthy, loving relationships in which we let each other become our best selves.

At work, I want to establish a fault-free, self-perpetuating, learning environment.

In the world, I want to nurture the development of all life forms, in harmony with the laws of nature.

I will live each day as though I had all the power and influence necessary to make it a perfect world. Through listening to and serving others, I will learn new ideas and gain different perspectives.

I will strive to gain mastery over life's challenges through increasing my circle of influence and deemphasizing those areas of concern over wich I have no control.

I will behave in a manner so as to become a light, not a roadblock, for others who choose to follow or lead me.

I will trust my deams and be the prisoner of nothing.

I will use my private victories unselfishly by trying to creat value for others. The pursuit of excellence will determine the options I decide to exercise and the paths I choose to travel.

I will expect no more of others than I expect of myself. I will seek new sources for learning and growth--nature, family, literature, new acquaintances.

I will show love rather than expect love. I choose to focus upon being effective versus efficient. I choose to make a difference in this world.

Climb the Mountain:

I will live each day with courage and a belief in myself and others. I will live by the values of integrity, freedom of choice, and a love of all God's people. I will strive to keep commitments not only to others but to myself as well. I will remember that to truly live, I must climb the mountain today, for tomorrow may be too late. I know that my moutnain may seem no nore than a hill to others and I will accept that. I will be renewed by my own personal victories and triumphs no matter how small. I will continue to make my own choices and to live with them as I have always done. I will not make excuses or blame others. I will, for as long as possible, keep my mind and body healthy and strong so that I am able to make the choice to climb the mountain. I will help others as best I can and I will thank those who help me along the way.

My mission is to be a force for positive change and to inspire others to greatness though being a catalyst for action and through developing a shared vision of that which is possible.

I will strive to continually invent the future out of my imagination rther than being a victime of the past. I will strive to choose my way honoring courage, justice, jumility, kindness, understanding, and personal integrity.

Finally, I will frequently remind mysel that, without risk, there is neither success nor failure. As Thomas Aquinas observed: If the primary mission of a captain were to preserve his ship, he would never leave port.

I pledge myself to being a caring and honest friend to those around me and to always attempt to link that which I know with that which I do.

I will maintain a positive attitude and a sense of humor in everything I do. I want to be known by my family as a caring and loving husband and father; by my business associates as a fair and honest person; and my friends as someone they can count on. To the people who work for me and with me, I pledge my respect and will strive every day to earn their respect. Controlling all my actions is a strong sense of integrity which I believe is the most important character trait.

To act in a manner that brings out the best in me and those important to me--especially when it might be most justifiable to act otherwise.

To be humble.

To say thanks to God in some way, every day.

To never react to abuse by passing it on.

To find the self within that does and can look at all sides without loss.

I believe in treating all people with kindness and respect.

I believe by knowing what I value, I truly know what I want.

To be driven by my values and beliefs.

I want to experience life's passions with the newness of a child's love, the sweetness and joy of young love, and the respect and reverence of mature love.

My goals are to achieve a position of respect and knowledge, to utilize that position to help others, to play an active role in a public service organization.

Finally, to go through life with a smile on my face and a twinkle in my eye.

To be someone others can count on--during the easy times and the difficult times. To have integrity, be respectful, and show kindness and consideration in all of my dealings and endeavors. To always be a person of my word, doing what I say I'll do.

To continually seek knowledge and wisdom—and to share it with others when I find it. To teach others willing to learn. To encourage others seeking their dreams. To be capable of enlightening others of pathways and possibilities. To be able and willing to add value to others seeking to better themselves or who desire to make the world a better place. To share my expertise with organizations desiring to achieve maximum effectiveness and/or efficiency.

To be the best and loving partner, father, papa, family member, and friend I can be. To surround myself with positive people while doing my best to ignore or disassociate myself from those whose attitudes and/or behavior are toxic.

To always respect nature and Her ways.

To be available and ready to serve my country if ever called upon during a time of crisis or war. To be willing to die to protect my family and country from those intending to inflict harm upon us.
